40 Something @ home Mommie of 2!!

Everyday is a new adventure!! I have worked since I was 15yrs old and I have dealt with all kinds of problems and situations from racism to cronyism in the workplace. I have to say being a stay at home mom of 2 toddlers is the hardest job I've ever had!!

I have 2 boys and they are 3yrs old, and 1 yr old. The 3 yr old is jealous of the 1 yr old, so everytime the baby gets a kiss, hug, or picked up my 3yr old is right there to get his too!! Needless to say my 40+ year old back can't handle the weight!! Bear in mind I'm 5'9" and 200+ lbs (no need to be accurate) pounds, and their dad is 6' 6 and 348lbs ( I don't care if I tell his weight). So needless to say we sired some healthy offspring!!

My 3 yr old is a picky eater that only like cheese pizza and hot pockets and my 1 yr old will eat anything, unless he's teething as he is now so he pretty much just follows me around holding on to my leg and whining for comfort because his gums are kicking his butt!! (Mine too!!)

Help a sistah out!! Am I the only one suffering this fate? Misery loves company, talk to me other moms that share my plight!! HELP!! What do you do to cope? After the fifth spill and cleanup the other day I had to have a glass of white zinfandel, a muscle relaxant and prayer to get back to a mentally healthy normal. How do you cope? Help a sistah out!!

I am pleasantly surprised daily by how much my 4 yr olds mind is growing, and how he is able to communicate his thoughts, feelings, emotions and also help me be in the moment sometimes when I lose my focus. My son speaks of himself in the 3rd person which is hilarious to me! Earlier he was busy playing with his Elmo vacuum and pretending to clean the floor, and when he was done he politely came to me and said "I need 4 dollars Mom". How to overcome Problems putting an Autistic child to sleep naturally

PUTTING YOUR AUTISTIC CHILD TO SLEEP SO YOU CAN REST!! When my son was younger he would only sleep 8 hours at a time, and it was particularly difficult to get him to wind down.  He would run around from room to room disturbing the neighbors and everyone elses sleep as well. Relocating to NOLA or Bust!! I would"nt trade nothing for the journey!

Good Morning , Growing up on 67th & Carpenter I had many role models and learned the value in each persons role and to respect their endeavors at excellence. I watched some mothers stay at home and care for the house and raise the children while the father went to work,Mrs. Hill buying all that food and milk at Hillmans Grocery Store on 63rd. Mrs. Veal taking care of her home, Mrs. Keenon going to work, Mrs.Payne and Mrs.Wilks, and Mrs. Lingo sending their kids out with ful l bellies and ready for school. Mrs. Myers,Mrs. Marshall, Mrs.Scott. Mrs. Jett, Daisy, Mrs. Lester being single Moms working hard to feed and raise their families, some were widows some left men to raise their children alone becaiuse that was best for them and I respect that much more now that I know how truly hard that is. Especially the moms with 5 or more kids I pray for strength and patience daily with 2 kids I don't know how the heck they did it with more! Cooking delicious and nutritious me...
